The Public Show
Bringing rare talent to Leicester
Brief logo The Public Show will showcase eye-popping talent from across the UK.

With a strong line up of varied acts, with the possibilty of one or two more to come, you can expect to be amazed and astounded by the talent on offer. Be doubly amazed when you realise just how cheap our show is.

Confirmed acts :-
Martin Heasman in performance Photo credit : Azrelle Martin Heasman is a prodigiously talented club and ball juggler who wowed the audience at his first major performance at the Scottish Juggling Convention 2008.

Expect slick, fluid juggling of a high technical standard.

LaNgErZ LaNgErZ blurs the string of his diabolo with his stupidly dizzyingly fast and complex diabology. Due to family considerations we regret that LaNgErZ has had to pull out. Our best wishes to him and his family. In the meantime, watch this space for replacement acts.

Apex Acro Apex Acro weave their bodies through space, bringing beautifully feline acrobatic balance moves to the stage.

With many years' performance experience, Jane and Lisa are one of the country's best acro balance duos.

Luke hallgarten Photo : The Void Luke Hallgarten was a silver award winner at the British Young Juggler Of The Year 2008 (BYJOTY), with the strongest character act in this year's competition. Infuriatingly young and talented.

Luke's performance at BYJOTY won him the Lestival show award, no mean feat with such a strong field.

John “Fanboy” Booth Photo : The Void John “Fanboy” Booth is an electrifying performer with diabolos, showing both a high technical standard and natural showmanship. And often his bare chest too.

Rachel Black Photo : The Void Rachel Black was a huge surprise at this year's Chocfest in York, and will be bringing her hot and happy hula hoop skills to Lestival.

Her routine is uptempo high octane hooping at its crowd pleasing best.

Adrian Pole Adrian Pole stormed his way to winning the BYJOTY competition in 2007 with a landslide popular vote for his high energy and clean routine, and managed a silver award this year, with his Baby Bono performance.

Always a crowd pleaser, don't be surprised if you see knee slides or hear the music of U2.

Tom Derrick Tom Derrick has been a regular on the British juggling scene for some years, despite his youth, and has provided some of the most imaginative character performances seen on convention stages.

Skilled, enthusiastic, and full of humour, his shows are always popular.

Matt Pang Matt Pang, gentleman juggler par excellence. Matt specialises in the gentleman style of jugging, which was once a staple of the variety halls but is now a sadly neglected art. He is a former student of Circomedia, the professional circus school in Bristol.

Look forward to juggling with style, accuracy, flair, risk, and a hint of humour.
